Nursery

A child is a gift from God and should be treated as such. Our nursery's top priority is to give a child the same love and care that they would receive if they were with their own mother. We ensure protection by carefully selecting people who have not only a heart for taking gentle care of children but also who have proven themselves as experienced child caretakers. Toddlers are given the same care and taught simple Bible lessons that come through coloring and doing crafts. We are equipped to meet the needs of your child and will work hand in hand with you so that you can enjoy the classes and services that are designed to meet your spiritual needs.

Children's Ministry

AWANA, “Approved-Workers-Are-Not- Ashamed!” is the highlight of our children’s program here at Brush Arbor Baptist Church.  Each Wednesday Night during the school year, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM our dedicated volunteers sing, teach, and play with over 100 kids from our local neighborhoods. The children get a chance to earn badges, treats and awards while playing games, memorizing Scripture, and hearing great Bible lessons. AWANA Club is designed for children ages K3 to 5th grade. Students will check into the gym with their parents and meet for the Opening Ceremony. They will then be dismissed to their appropriate classes. Students will return to the gym to be picked up by parents at 8:00 p.m.

  • AWANA Clubs
  • Cubbies - Preschool Club
  • Sparkies - K5-2nd Grade Club
  • Truth and Training Clubs - 3rd-5th Grades

Sunday School Classes are held for appropriate children age groups every Sunday. All of our children Sunday School classes start at 9:30 AM and meet in the lunch room to be dismissed to their individual classes. Stop by the auditorium lobby for assistance and directions. After Sunday School classes, students will be escorted to Children's Church for the 10:30 AM service.

Children’s Church is an age appropriate worship service for our children up to age twelve. This is an exciting time for the children, where they sing, earn prizes, and hear great Bible lessons from our dedicated volunteers.

Summer Children Activities

Summer Club is our Wednesday night children’s program (K3 to 5th grade) during the summer break. Children will meet from 6:30pm til 8:00pm and do games, Bible lessons and other fun activities.

Vacation Bible School will be scheduled during summer of every year. It is a very exciting week of learning about God's Word, do crafts and games, and have fun snacks.

Summer Camp for Brush Arbor kids grades 2nd to 6th will be invited to attend an over night summer camp with us one week during the summer.

Youth Ministry

Wednesday Night from 6:30 to 8:00pm is the major gathering for our Teenagers at BABC. The teens enjoy hanging out with other like minded peers, and learning foundational truths from God’s Word. This meeting is geared toward helping teens deal with the issues that they face every day by teaching them what God’s Word says about Holy Living in an unholy world.

Teen Summer Camp is one of the highlights the year for Brush Arbor Teens. Our teens attend summer camp  every summer.  We feel that it is important for a teenager to find at least one week of their summer as a chance to spiritually recharge for the school year to come.

Monthly Activities help to build strong, Christian friendships in our teenagers lives.  We try to schedule a special activity for our teens at least once a month.  These activities may include canoeing, game nights, picnics, area fun centers, or youth rallies at area churches.

Teen Fundraisers such as car washes happen monthly to help our teens earn money to go to camp and to participate in other activities without putting any strain on parents. The fundraiser money is kept in individual accounts for the teens at the church and can be used when it is needed to participate in activities.

Sunday School Classes are held for our Teens every Sunday Morning at 9:30 AM. The teens will meet in the library before being dismissed to their individual classes.

Stop by the auditorium lobby for assistance and directions.

All Pro Dad

All Pro Dad is a monthly gathering where dads and kids can engage in meaningful conversations and activities.  This hour long meeting centers on a different Christian character trait such as patience, respect, or responsibility.  Both fathers and their children will be encouraged to help each other better exhibit that particular trait in their lives.

All Pro Dad also encourages greater engagement between fathers and their children.  This meeting is normally held on the third Saturday of each month in the Cafeteria.

Outreach Ministry

Our church family is integral in reaching our neighborhood for Christ. Throughout the year we have special opportunities to meet and pass out information about our church and talk to people about Jesus Christ. From special Outreach efforts, to community events, we could not reach our to our neighborhood as Christ has commanded us to without the commitment of our church members.

Tracts and other information are also available in the church lobby to hand out personally. Don't forget to invite friends and families to special activities and services at our church as well. Guests are welcome at all services and events.

Bus Ministry

Our Bus Ministry plays a vital role in our church! We have seen lives changed and souls saved on a regular basis. On our buses, which travel many miles to pick up even a single teen, we ensure safety and provide an experience that would allow your children to indulge in a friendship that honors Christ Jesus.

Music Ministry

We strive to have a well balanced music program with the purposeful intent of worshiping God. When we say that we simply mean that our endeavor in music is not to be trendy or cutting edge for we seek to worship the Father instead of entertain a crowd. You will find a blend of music at our church that ranges from traditional hymns to modern songs played in a manner that will create an atmosphere conducive for glorifying our Lord and Savior.

Choir Practice: 4:45 every Sunday.
